FRIDAY FINDS - FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2004
Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, 11:04 p.m.

QUESTION: Did you remember to do your Friday Finds?

WHAT I LEARNED: I'm always finding stuff.

How could I let Friday slip away without posting another set of Friday Finds? Not a chance. Here they are:

LIFETIME READER

Thanks to vickithecute for linking to Reading is Fundamental and reminding everyone who stops by how important it is to advocate for literacy. RIF is the largest nonprofit with a focus on childrens literacy in the U.S. Lets get everyone reading!

EVERYTHING ALICE

I dont believe I am alone in my love of Alice in Wonderland. These two Alice in Wonderland sites are longtime favorites of mine. If you want to be amused then you need to stop by this Alice in Wonderland interactive adventure featuring Alice and the whole gang. If you want a dose of Alice culture then Lennys Alice in Wonderland Site is for you. Read the Lost Chapter. Find out the origins of the story. Browse a fantastic gallery of Alice illustrations.

FAERIE AMONG US

You never know what youll see passing by in the most ordinary of situations.

I LOVE THANKSGIVING

Who doesnt love this cornucopia of dieting dilemmas? Diet by damned, Im cooking up a storm this Thanksgiving!

At All Recipes alone there are over 1,500 Thanksgiving recipes to pour over. Martha Stewart might be temporarily out of commission but you can still linger over her Thanksgiving menus. Where else could you find a Colonial Thanksgiving menu including Maple Roast Turkey with Riesling Gravy and Apple Pandowdy?

Personally, Im going to try some of Rachel Ray recipes - most notably her Apple and Onion Stuffin' Muffins.

A CHIC DIARY

Discovering each new entry that chubbychic posts tends to be more fun than a box full of Twinkies. Shes an irresistible read. Shes often blazingly laugh-out-loud funny and her diary has a snack theme, making her one of my undying favorite diary destinations.

These are my Friday Finds. What are yours?
