Reindeer in the Sunshine

The sun is shining so hard that I have to shade my eyes when I look at the twinkling white reindeers that have suddenly appeared on our front lawn, carelessly grazing on our still-green grass. They don't seem to care that there are drifts of rough brown leaves swirling around their solidly planted hooves instead of soft white snow. Even if they wanted to how could they; what with their heads bobbing up and down like that?

I say, and I am sure they would concur, why not?

Birds gotta fly. Fish gotta swim. And reindeer? Well, at least when they are made out of white vinyl-coated metal, gotta hang out on front lawns come December.
