Lazy Sunday

QUESTION: Get much done?

WHAT I LEARNED: Something is better than nothing.

It's Sunday and that means that the day goes fast and slow at the same time. It means that I have things to do that I won't do and I will do things that I didn't think needed to be done at all.

For instance, this is what I should have done today:

• Get up early - rise and shine right?
• Clean through stacks of papers that still seem to pile up in my house despite the fact that we are supposed to be in the midst of a digital age,
• Do a major back-to-school blitz for the kids,
• Straighten up the entire house,
• Get those finances organized.

This is what I really did today:

• Slept in- beauty rest and all,
• Added some papers to the stacks in the kitchen, and my office,
• Pushed back major back-to-school blitz for the kids because can't get kids attention long enough to do proper school spree,
• Hung up pictures of kids we got done at the old time photo shop while at the beach - don't laugh because that's a major project in my household,
• Tossed out an large pink armchair that has been cluttering up the living room forever because we have finally seen one too many Trading Spaces and had to change something in our house. Now what should we do about the gold tone refrigerator and stove?
• Got Subway subs for dinner - yes, I am lazy today,
• Hey, Dance Fever was on all day today. Gotta dance, gotta dance now.
