I contemplated going into a quiet room and sobbing today as well, but when I finally found myself alone in a quiet office, I just ended up taking a nap. Have you seen "Full Metal Jacket"? I'd watch the first half for "people-management" tips. Have fun with "Lost in Translation". I hated it the first time, but loved it the second.

Nothing gives me more anxiety and feeling of inadequacy as writing a cover letter...Whoo. Exhausting. You probably may not want to do this, but give "Lost in Translation" a week to simmer and watch it again...I found myself enveloped in the "sensorial" aspect of it the second time around. I really enjoyed how Coppola played with, and emphasized all the different "sounds of quiet". I also thought her sense of visual compostion was a nice complement to the atmosphere she created with the sound. I think the flirtation between Bill and Scarlett was improbable, but I enjoyed the movie for it's superficial aspects. Very calming once you divest it of all the hype.

Hey, I went to art school. If it's animated, I'll watch it. It's not computer animated, but there's a beautiful (although somewhat melancholy) Japanese animated film called "Spirited Away". I liked Monsters Inc. too...The first Toy Story was fun. I'm looking forward to "The Incredibles" this summer.

yeah my summer job feels like sometimes, but I get through. Tonight I happen to have a great night in raising 675 bucks, so that really made me feel good. Just have to stick it out sometimes.
