WHAT I LEARNED: It's all about the chocolate.

Happy Valentine�s Day!

I�m eating chocolate and I plan to be eating chocolate for many a day. I have received a box of Godiva chocolates, which are splendid to behold, and also a box of drug store chocolates, which are a family tradition and come in a big red heart-shaped box sealed in cellophane. Chocolates wrapped in red cellophane make me think of the boxes of candy my parent�s used to give us as kids on Valentine�s Day. I don�t remember the chocolate but I do remember being fascinated by the way the world looked when viewed through that red cellophane. To me, red cellophane, boxed chocolates, and cold winter days, all go together. As an all-grown-up girl, I have developed a taste for Godiva and Belgium chocolates. An unfortunate turn of events for my husband. Worse still, where mom's chocolate fancies go, her daughter's chocolate requirements as sure to follow.

Sometimes a girl has to be high maintenance.
