Would you say a prayer tonight?

I just got a phone call from one of my daughter's friends. She was calling from a local hospital. She was trying to locate my daughter because a mutual friend who had recently been hospitalized has taken a turn for the worse. She said - tell her to come right now if she has anything she wants to say to him.

Peter is just a young kid recently out of high school who became sick recently with something that the doctors have not been able to diagnose. They thought it might be lukemia, then something else. My daughter told me today that he was in intensive care and we needed to pray for him.

We agreed that we would but it seems we don't have as much time as we imagined for those prayers. So, I am writing this entry in the hopes that some of you might add your prayers to those already being said for Peter.
