What I Learned: Change is hard work.

Thanks to the brilliant and creative Nicola of Raging Pistachio, Suburban Island has got a beautiful new look. I had a lot of ideas that I was trying to put together with regard to a new look for Suburban Island that Nicola interpreted perfectly. This template really expresses the spirit of Suburban Isle from my perspective and I am really delighted with it.

Alice is a hallmark of grace under the pressures of ordinary life in all its wonderful strangeness, and she is still a big part of Suburban Island. However, there's a bit more SUBURBIA blended into this new template. The photo is mine and Nicola did some beautiful things with the images to make them come together as two perfects sides of one suburban whole. There is still the glimmer of yellow here and there but the colors, while still warm, are much easier on the eyes.

I am really happy with the new improved Isle and I hope that everyone enjoys the new Suburban Isle ambiance.

Nicola, you are indeed amazing!
