Missing Bunny Alert
Monday, Apr. 12, 2004, 10:59 a.m.

QUESTION: Has anyone seen my bunny?

WHAT I LEARNED: Nothing is forever.

Has anybody seen my bunny? It was a cute little yellow bunny. I picked out the color myself. It was posted in yesterday's entry. In fact it was the entirety of yesterday's entry, which is an unfortunate turn of events.

I went to the adoption site where the bunny originated only to find that a bunny-hating billing/support department had posted a suspended account notice. I am sure there are many missing bunnies this morning. Oh, how cruel to deny so many little animated bunnies a loving home at this time of year.

And this brings me to imood. What happened to imood? I had to remove my imood code because it wasn't working. I miss my little imood indicator that told the world that I was caffeinated every day for a month because every time I went to change it I thought - why when it's perfectly correct? What's worse is that I no longer know the mood of the Internet. Although mostly it was tired - except on Friday nights when everyone perked up. Still, it was the principle of the thing.

So life on the Internet is transient and unpredictable. Sometimes we are left wondering after things - is everyone over at imood okay? Will they return? And why did that billing department take away everyone's bunnies during the height of bunny season?

This is Monday morning.
