A true good guy...hope he doesn't get his white horse shot out from under him. People like the jerk are dangerous, lash out with nary a thought of repercussions. Write down everything you heard, date and time, everything, to back up your neighbor. Been there, done that with a neighbor myself...document EVERYTHING. The girl might need every bit of ammo one day from any source she can.

I lived that... The young woman is brainwashed into really believing that this loser is the best thing in her life. Her friend, your young neighbor, is a one-in-a-million. I hope she is seeing clearly enough to recognize the difference.
