I don't remember "I Married Joan" and don't recognize some of what I assume are more modern television shows - but I do recall M*A*S*H and of course, I Love Lucy. I see those treasures and pine for the days when television was fun and/or insightful...

Family Affair is my very fav. i used to watch old B&W reruns when I was a kid though. Everyday was a 3 hour block that included I Married Joan ("With Gail Storm"). I loved her!

I don't remeber I Married Joan. But I Love Lucy will always be one of my favorites. I also loved the old Andy Griffith too.

"I Married Joan!" YAY! We are old enough to remember this show - with Jim Backus. The lyrics went something like this? "I married Joan (do wop do whaa) What a girl, what a whirl, what a wife!" Yes?

I have never heard of "I Married Joan". I'm quite ashamed of myself! I adore shows from that era, and I love Jim Backus! Thanks for the info. I'll have to investigate further. :)
