I'll keep the bitter part in mind. I tend to like that type of stuff. My mom used to always buy turnips for me and peel them and I'd eat them like an apple. Those might be a bit sweeter though, dunno. Seem to recall having rutabagas before, I just can't remember where.

I think I'll have to pass on the rutabagas. I don't like turnips and if I recall they're similar in taste - but above and beyond that, I don't think the stores here carry rutabagas. I can't recall ever seeing them here.
