Dump it! You can do it! heehee -One of the annoyances between my husband and I is he can't throw anything away and I can fairly easily. Only in the last six months has he finally cleared away the clothes that don't fit him and the ones that had holes & stains in them from 15 years ago. Now if I could convince him he doesn't need to keep every box that every single item he's ever bought came in.

you can do it. *smile* I just had to clean my apt because one of my roomates was moving out, and we were having an inspection. I can now say that my kitchen and living room are clean, and my bathroom, but I need to do some work on my room itself. Well I do not think I got the job at krispy kreme, but that is okay because it would be too much work. I don't want stress myself out this year because this is my last year in college, and congrads to your daughter being a college freshman. Man I remember my first year of college. Believe me, the time will pass so quickly. *smile*

I must say that the clean sweep of my apartment has helped my sanity tremendously. Now the problem is that I lost a bunch of receipts and I KNOW that I must have thrown them out because there is no pile of crap that they could be buried in. The key to making this clean sweep work has been my 10 minute rule... take 10 minutes to clean up before I go to bed. I do still have a cabinet of plastic, but that's just how that's going to stay to remind me that things can never be perfect. :-)

I moved into a Palatial Apartment (which we've been blashpemously referring to as the "Urban Oasis") and I have so much room in here that I can consign clutter to one of the massive closets in rooms I do not use. I will come down and help you clean sweep your house. I am giong to start doing that as a part time job.

One hundred plastic containers and one hundred plastic lids... and none of the lids fit any of the containers. (See cabinets to the left of my kitchen sink for real-life examples.)

Clutter is my middle name. I'm constantly picking up stacks of papers I leave lying around. And, plastic, Michael's reasoning is that it can be used in the garage. Okay, so why's it still in the kitchen? A very good entry!

I know what the problem is. That junk mulitplies in the middle of the night when we all sleep. I started out with three plastic containers and now I must have 30! Gremlins are doing it. Trust me.

I also save plastic containers but I take them to school and use them as paint trays or containes to sort and keep small supplies. Plastic microwave trays are the best for paint. But, once I've reused them once i feel that is enough and I can throw them away caked with paint.

You're like me. I can't part with my old mags. Well at least certain ones. :P Good luck in one day clearing it. You can do it!
