Yea it's terrible when people just up and leave. No matter what someone will always be sad. But sometimes things just come back without warning and everything will be alright again. Hopefully some things come back for you.

Let's see if I can put this deep and philosophically. You may quote me on this. (ya, sure) Without endings, there would be no room for beginnings nor new memories. There would be nothing fresh. It would be sad to have but one book to read over and over. Endings give us room to grow within our world, within ourselves.

I wasn't such a big Wonderfalls fan, but I do miss Keen Eddie.

What a great entry. Makes me think of the people, places and things that are no longer around for me to enjoy. Say, what is with the Weather Pixie? I noticed mine is back up tonight.

I completely understand your sadness about NOT doing the regular vacation thing. We decided not to take our regular vacation this year also. However, I know you'll have a great time in Orlando. I never go anywhere & even I've been there!

You have inspired me to update my diary. I know what you mean about missing old friends. I am the friend that moved away and with some people it is easy to keep in touch , others it is nearly impossible. Have fun in Orlando, I was there last week, it WAS hot, but lots of fun! If you go to Islands of Adventure, be sure to ride The Hulk!

Thanks for all the hair colour love! It's been about a week and it is *still* washing out purpley water whenever I take a shower. The problem with black is that it isn't as dynamic as other colours: you can't have patches of light black, dark black, etc. Glad you caught up; shame that nothing exciting is going on! I go to Mason, but live in Philadelphia, so I'm actually getting ready to go back to DC. "Wicked" was awful. Seriously, awful. Elphaba (wicked witch) and Glinda (good witch) were college roommates and the Wizard is an facist, to give you an idea of what the book is like. It's so long and is addicting, but has no depth, substance, or really interesting plot. When I was done I felt like I read it and nothing had happened.

Heee.. your entry makes me sad about not updating my own diary. I totally understand the sentimental bit. Its one of the reasons that cleaning my closets usually takes days instead of hours. I usually wind up sitting on the floor reminising through old garbage that makes me tear up. heheh

Wow- what a great entry, very well written. I have the same feelings as you when it comes to a lot of those things.

Wonderful entry. I can so realte. I wish I also was not so sentimental. But I guess it's good to be sensitive. Have a good weekend. Kathy

Kipp said that the new slang for 'flip flops" is "JFK's" I am getting me some JFKs this week at J. Crew.
