ooooh...you just described the same assesment I made friday morning as I was getting ready for work. I had big plans, tho - absolutely no recreation this weekend until I had completely cleaned and organized my house so that I could feel comfortable with it again. Sad to say, I spent the entire weekend sorting, cleaning and organizing, only to come to the conclusion that it's still a mess! The only thing worse than that Friday morning assesment is the Sunday afternoon assesment that shows that I still have way more to do than I have time to do it. I need a vacation so that I can catch up on all the things that I want to get done around the house. Of course, if you read the entry I plan on making later, you will understand why I never make headway...

excellent entry. :) for me it's wednesdays and sundays...and an office i fear will never be clean. this is when i most feel like my mother, when i am doing mountains of neverending laundry or dishes. i wonder how in hell 2 people generate so much mess, and then realize there were 5 of us in chez doyle, and i really really feel for my mom. kd
