I used to never lock my keys in my car, but then for a few months, it happened 4 times. Now that I lock my car with the little remote thingie, In the over 2 years I've had this car, I've never locked my keys in the car. *knocks on wood* I love this car. Good gas mileage. Cd player. Small. But the thing I love most: the stupid remote. :) Sometimes, when I'm tired, I catch myself trying to open the door to my apartment using the remote.

The only thing I ever misplace is my keys, which always sets us on the same kind of hunt you had. Be glad though that at least you were in your warm house...and not standing in the cold somewhere =)

Count your blessings, the last time I locked my keys in the car I had also locked the doors to my house. So I looked like a burgler breaking into my own house so I could call my roomate who had the other key. He had to come all the way back from work which is a half hour drive.
