Happy Belated Birthday!!! I know what you mean too, I just turned 30 this year and it felt NO different than any other birthday. Sounds like you had a GREAT week so far.

What a great attitude you have. Next summer I turn 40 and it is making me crazy in anticipation. However after turning 29 being worse than turning 30, I Have to think the '9s are harder than the 0s.

Happy Birthday! You handled 50 much better than I ever handled 40!

If I have half as much wisdom, humour, and life experience at 50 as you do, I shall have lived an extraordinary life. You're an inspiration sunnflower. Happy Birthday!

You have a young heart and that is what matters. I am not sure why, but I thought you were closer to my age of 36.. Happy Belated Birthday..

You're a decent human being and that's a blessing to everyone, not matter their age.

Happy Birthday! You're writing has...such...youth (?) to it. I don't know if thats the right word to use, but whatever. Haha. I expected you to be...in your thirties, maybe. I don't know why, just an assumption I guess. Happy belated birthday, hope it's great!

I turned 50 in September. I don't feel old enough to be this age. I'm 50 and still riding my Harley and life is good.

Hi there! I got here via your "Singin' In The Rain" banner ad. I was in the musical of the same name. I love your diary design. I read this entry and it hit home for me. I can understand what you are saying about seeing those big 0 b-days from far off. I am 29. I am very unsatisfied with life right now. I sense big changes ahead. I feel compelled to do something to better my situation. Thank you for this entry.

I hated turning 40 only because I felt--still feel--the first 40 years were pretty much a wash. I hated turning 30 for the same reason. But AFTER the day, the anticipation sets in, the chance for a new start. Maybe THIS will be the decade...! About my biggest wish these days is that by the time I hit 50, I can look forward to it with as much anticipation as many of the rest of you seem to be looking forward to 40 or 50.
