The Adventures of Motherhood! Glad you were not hurt any worse. I like stories with drama but E.R. trauma we can do without!

I'm glad you're all right. Oh the things we do for a relatively clean house.

I keep hoping that elves, pixies or trolls are real and they'll clean my house. I live in the church and people are here all the time. Drat. Must clean.

Oh my! The memories. I made my own canopy, but it just goes around the beds, nothing on top. But it is made out of thin PVC piping. I have taken it down once so far to clean. What a job! Since mine is home-made, it doesn't screw together or anything. It just sticks into the corner joints at, of course, the corners. So it is "get two up, one falls down, get one up, three fall down," you get the picture. I think next time, I'm just going to use the hose, lol.

I'd give up 1/3 of my salary if I could have a clean house...w/out the humiliation of hiring someone to do it. It's like admitting some feminine failure- I am not a "real" woman since I live in filth. Oh well. A canopy would be gorgeous, but I'll just be proud of my clean litter box. (Came in through yr kitty banner- the best darn banner I've seen in a long time- and a gorgeous friggin site all around.)

See this is the thing - kids leave things lying all over their floors because that way, when their parents decide to go clambering around on a cleaning mission, they have a soft landing. So really you can tell how considerate your kids are by how deep the pile of crap on the floor is. Devil's advocate anyone?
