Now THAT's the kind of reaction I like to see to a snow day! Out here where all we see is rain if we're lucky, and don't GET a snow day off, we are all jealous of the treat. Yeah, yeah, we know it's inconvenient and dangerous (perhaps even more so out here where we've sold all our snowplows and we don't know how to drive in the stuff), but we know in our atavistic souls that hot dogs don't get cooked in the wee small hours without some kind of meteorological excuse. I'm glad you're enjoying it!

I wish my family was like that! But we don't even get snow because we live in frickin TEXAS! I hate texas. (love the people, hate the state. At least in the winter when the news is all talking about snow.)

Ah... reading your entry for the day makes me long for the good ol' snow days of my youth! We typically get that kind of snow that shuts everything down here in Michigan, but it went further east this year... sounds like you're in the midst of it! Enjoy your snow days. It really sounds like a lot of fun :)
