I sometimes wonder how my co-workers feel about my sick kids/gotta pick kids up from school/gotta go home because there's no one home with the kids excuses, but you know what? I don't really care. They don't know how it feels and they don't understand that when you're a mom, your kids ARE your first priority. I figure if the brass don't like it, the brass can hire another SCHOOLS reporter -- one who doesn't have kids ;)

Hi Hon, I know exactly how you feel. With only two I am very lucky, however, the sharing germs and creating new ones just for kicks can get a working mom down. Remember, those co-workers don't care about what a great mom you are...your kids do! Healing hugs, Y.

My boss is a Mormon with eight kids! You KNOW those kids get sick every once in a while. Yet he never has to miss work to take care of one of them. And his wife does work.... Makes you want to punch him, doesn't it?
