300 ENTRIES FOR SUBURBAN ISLAND Tuesday, May. 18, 2004, 8:39 a.m.
QUESTION: Why don't you just write a book?
WHAT I LEARNED: There's a lot to write about in suburbia.
It cant be. It is! It is the 300th entry for Suburban Island. To celebrate, Ive selected some of my own favorite Suburban Island entries to share with you on this momentous occasion. Thirteen to be exact. A bakers dozen. Plus of course, the entry that started it all in November of 2002. Youll laugh, youll cry, youll be amazed by these modern tales of everyday adventure, high suburban drama, unexpected pathos, totally embarrassing moments, and the unfolding of small miracles. Perhaps you'll even write me a comment, note, or guestbook entry congratulating me on reaching this landmark and encouraging me to record more of my suburban adventures. Thanks to everyone who reads this diary about life on Suburban Island.
