WHAT I LEARNED: Even when we speak the same language, we may not always undestand each other.

Here's my FRIDAY FINDS for this week:

LIFE MAGAZINE was a staple of my childhood. The beautiful pictures and covers were remarkable. Some of these covers and photos from days gone by can be enjoyed on Classic LIFE. I love this glimpse back in time.

Desktop weather is handy and thanks to the Weather Channel, I’ve got free desktop weather of my own. I finally know what the local temperature is day and night. Not only that it provides me important weather alerts. Cool.

Great quote of the week –

Yvette18 is a diary that I always look forward to reading. There is something simple and honest and worthy about this diarist’s writing style that I find very appealing.

British mock-umentary, The Office is painfully brilliant. Made up of 2 seasons and a special – its biggest problem is that it doesn’t go on for several more seasons. Luckily, a British-to-American English cheat sheet was included so that I can enjoy every drop of the humor in this BBC series.
