Question: Why ARE chipmunks so darn cute?

What I Learned: You never know what form inspiration will take.

There's a chipmunk in my yard that I admire.

Its coat is ultra shiny without any need for fancy shampoos and conditioners while I have so many bottles and tubes of hair stuff that everytime I wash my hair I feel like I am taking a shower in the shampoo aisle of my local drug store.

It's a backyard sprinter who seems to fly across the lawn, literally lifting off the ground in grand arches along the way, while I must often sit in rush hour traffic constrainted by my lack of even momentary flight capabilities.

This chipmunk just seems to have fun, whether hanging precariously from a birdfeeder or leaping up in the air, while I am chained to my desk today looking out the window and wishing my hair was chipmunk strawberry blonde and I could fly for just a few seconds.

A chipmunk is not a bad source of inspiration on a cloudy day in May.
