Possible Snow Day Ahead

It's snowing here! Every school kid and more than a few adults are ready for a snow day.

For kids this means:

Playing in the snow until you face turns red and your fingers feel numb through your gloves
Turning up at home soaking wet and changing into something dry and warm
Sitting in front of the TV and eating a nice hot lunch
Hoping the snow never goes away.

Sounds good doesn't it?

For moms this means:

Finding snow clothes from every hard-to-access point in the house
Getting kids into layers of snow gear
Picking up masses of wet clothes scattered throughout the house every few hours
Wiping up patches of ice mixed with dirt from every inch of carpeted area between the front door and the television/bathroom/kitchen/computer room
Drying loads of laundry repeatedly throughout the day
Cooking and cooking and cooking
Wondering when the snow is going to melt.

I guess that's what you get for growing up.
